HamKam back to winning ways in Eliteserien

HamKam beat Start 4-2 in Kristiansand on Sunday evening in Eliteserien (NRK Innlandet). Half an hour into the match, Luc Mares opened the scoring with a penalty. Former HamKam player John Olav Norheim equalised for Start before the break.

In the second half, HamKam made the difference. Loris Mettler scored, then Mohamed Ofkir netted twice. Start reduced the deficit late on. It is HamKam's first Eliteserien win since the 3-0 victory over Vålerenga in July (NRK Innlandet).

The club sits tenth in the provisional table with 26 points, with eight matches remaining. Hamar Arbeiderblad followed the game: at 23:00, the paper noted HamKam were leading and the away fans were holding back their celebrations. The daily also reported overnight reactions following a protest against VAR.
